NEW YORK – Colorado's women's basketball team climbed two more spots in this week's AP top 25, rising to No. 15 on Monday. It is the highest ranking for the Buffs since 2013.
CU earned a convincing 74-56 win over Colorado State at home on Thursday in its only game of the week. The team was led by sophomore guard , who scored a career-high 31 points and had seven assists. The win avenged a one-point loss to the Rams in Fort Collins last year.
CSU was the second opponent that reached the NCAA Tournament last season the Buffs have beaten so far this season.
