INDIANAPOLIS — After opening the NCAA Tournament on Saturday with an early game, the Colorado Buffaloes were glad to see their second-round contest notched for an evening tipoff.
The fifth-seeded Buffs, 96-73 winners over Georgetown, face fourth-seed Florida State on Monday in a 5:45 p.m. (MT) game at Indiana Farmers Coliseum.
The extra time Monday will give 23-8 CU a chance for a morning shootaround and take one more look at the scouting report Colorado's coaches prepared for Leonard Hamilton's 17-6 Seminoles.
"It's going to be a different animal than Georgetown," head coach Tad Boyle said of the Buffs' first-ever meeting with Florida State.
