BOULDER — Colorado women's basketball will start the season nationally ranked in both the Associated Press Top 25 and USA Today/WBCA Coaches poll he for the first time since the 2013-14 season. The AP poll lists the Buffs at 20, while the coaches list CU at 18.
Colorado was ranked No. 19 in both polls to start the 2013-14 season.
"I think we played well enough last year that we deserve to be in the mix early this year" head coach JR Payne explained. "We are really excited to be among the nation's elite and definitely feel like we have a lot of work to do.
