BOULDER — One thing on which Colorado head coach Mel Tucker places a premium is consistency. Tucker watches carefully to see who produces on the practice field every play, every day.
Thus far in fall camp, one of the players who has caught Tucker's eye regularly is sophomore outside linebacker Carson Wells.
Day in, day out, Wells has steadily delivered.
"He's a 'program' guy," Tucker said Thursday. "You want to build your team around those kinds of guys."
Wells, coming off an outstanding summer in the weight room, is by no means flashy — but he does plenty of things well.
