SAN FRANCISCO — The Colorado Buffaloes have been picked second overall in the inaugural Pac-12 Lacrosse Preseason Coaches Poll, as announced on Monday afternoon by the league's office.
The Buffs earned 21 points, which included one first-place vote, to finish behind the preseason favorite: Southern California. The Trojans recorded five first-place votes and 25 points to finish in front of Colorado.
Stanford placed third in the poll with 17 points and Oregon came in fourth (13 points). California was fifth overall (eight points) and Arizona State, which is entering its first season of varsity competition, was selected sixth (six points).
