RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico – The University of Colorado women's golf program opened its 2018 spring season here Sunday at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic. The No. 14/19 Buffaloes struggled against windy conditions as they sit in 10th place after shooting a 26-over par or 310 in the opening round.
"Tough opening day for the team today," head coach Anne Kelly said. "Conditions were challenging as the wind blew 20-25 mph all day and overall we need to adjust to the Bermuda grass better. Everyone was disappointed with the scores and ready to make a comeback tomorrow.
