STANFORD, Calif. — The Colorado women's basketball team hits the road for a pair of contests this weekend. The Buffaloes will start the trip with a rematch against No. 6 Stanford on Friday (7 p.m. MT). CU's weekend will conclude with a visit to California on Sunday (3 p.m. MT).
The Buffs made history last time around against then-No. 1 Stanford, pulling the upset off in overtime, 77-72. The last three contests against the Cardinal have all been decided by a combined 16 points with two of the three games needing overtime.
Colorado (6-8, 4-7 Pac-12) has not been able to reproduce that same kind of magic on the court since beating Stanford.
