BOULDER — Colorado coach Tad Boyle said if his team could hold fourth-ranked Arizona State in the 70s, the Buffs had a chance to win.
The Buffs couldn't do that — but Boyle's team still managed to pull off the upset Thursday night, knocking off the Sun Devils 90-81 in overtime at the Coors Events Center.
The win ended a three-game CU losing streak and improved Colorado's record to 9-6 overall and 1-2 in Pac-12 play. The Sun Devils lost their second in a row to fall to 12-2 and 0-2.
McKinley Wright IV and Namon Wright each scored 19 for the Buffs while George King added 18.
