Colorado's track and field team is competing in Stanford this weekend in the Pac-12 Championship
BOULDER – Colorado's track and field team is headed to Stanford this weekend for the Pac-12 Championships. The men are going into the weekend with 20 points and the women are entering the weekend with four points, earned by the multi athletes last weekend.
The two-day meet will take place at Stanford's Cobb Track and Angell Field. The Buffs will be competing against some of the nation's best athletes, something they have been preparing for all year.
"All season we have been attempting to get qualified and take steps of progress towards our readiness for this weekend," Head Coach Mark Wetmore said, "I tell the athletes, you have all year for us to send you around for your individual needs, but the conference championship is team points, it's the money weekend, be ready to do full team duty.
