Boureada Finishes Second Individually
LAS VEGAS — The University of Colorado women's golf team recorded a sixth place finish at the Rebel/Beach Invitational on Tuesday afternoon and freshman Malak Bouraeda led the team with a runner-up finish.
Arizona took home the tournament crown. The Wildcats finished with a 14-over 878. They shot rounds of 291-294-293 during the two-day tournament. Only four strokes back was UNLV, which finished the tournament at 18-over (290-295-297—882). Virginia took third overall (296-299-297—892), Oregon was fourth (301-300-294—895) and San Jose State was fifth (290-297-311—898).
Colorado was in fifth through two rounds, but did not have enough to hang on during the third round at the 6,353-yard, par 72 Spanish Trail Country Club.
