PULLMAN, Wash. — After another steady round, the University of Colorado women's golf team finished seventh at the Washington State University Cougar Cup Tuesday.
The Buffaloes recorded a 2-over 290 in the third round to finish the 54-hole tournament with a 6-over 870. CU moved up one position in the standings during the round and were just two strokes behind sixth place San Francisco (868).
Oregon State, which led after two rounds, hung on for the win, finishing with a 20-under 844. OSU shattered the tournament record (864 by Idaho in 2016). Second place went to Oregon (852), while Denver and Washington tied for third (854).
