LA ROMANA, Dominican Republic — The University of Colorado women's golf team moved up one position to finish 12th at the Tar Heel Classic Hosted by Suzy Whaley on Saturday.
The Buffs posted their best round of the tournament as they shot a 10-over 298 at the 6,140-yard, par 72 Casa de Campo Teeth of the Dog Course. Overall they finished with a 43-over 907 (300-309-298).
"We saw a little improvement today, especially by Malak (Bouraeda) and Haley (Nist)," head coach Anne Kelly said. "But still a disappointing tournament.
