BOULDER — Futility once again found a seat on the Colorado sidelines Saturday, as the Buffaloes dropped their sixth straight decision, a 30-7 loss to Utah.
Colorado fell to 5-6 overall and 2-6 in Pac-12 play with the loss while Utah improved to 8-3, 6-3.
The Buffs scored first for the sixth straight game, but as has been the case throughout their losing streak, the opponent recovered. The Utes quickly tied the game to send it into halftime knotted up at 7-7, then added 23 points to their total after halftime for the win.
CU is 2-0 in Pac-12 play when the opponent scores first and 0-6 in conference play when scoring first.
