BOULDER—The University of Colorado soccer's Senior Day celebration was spoiled at the hands of the visiting Utah Utes on Friday. The Utes early first-half goal held up for the game's entirety, handing the No. 21 Buffaloes a 1-0 loss to close out the regular season.
Colorado (13-4-3, 5-4-2 Pac-12) NCAA Tournament hopes will come down to Monday's NCAA Selection. A bid to the 64-team tournament would mark the team's third consecutive postseason trip. Utah (9-8-2, 6-4-1 Pac-12) jumps ahead of Colorado in the final Pac-12 standings, moving up into fourth.
