TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – An eventful evening between the No. 24 Colorado Buffaloes and the No. 6 Florida State Seminoles sideded with the home team on Thursday night. FSU, the defending national champions, needed every last second to hand the Buffaloes the 2-1 defeat, scoring the game-winner in the 10th minute of the first overtime.
The loss marks the first on the season for CU, who now sits at 6-1-0. Florida State improves to 5-2-0.
Each side had a hard time establishing a flow to the match with the clock frequently getting whistled to a halt.
