DENVER — Several members of the University of Colorado cross country teams raced at the RoadRunner Invitational Saturday morning at Washington Park in Denver.
In the women's 6-kilometer race, redshirt freshman Liz Constien was the lone uniformed racer for CU. She was also the highest finisher for the Buffs, placing fifth overall in 22 minutes, 25.2 seconds.
A pair of freshman ran in the meet unattached and finished in the top 20. Carley Bennett led the duo with an eighth-place finish in 22:45.4. Alisa Meraz-Fishbein placed 16th overall (23:49.
