BOULDER—The No. 20 Colorado Buffaloes had its moments against No. 5 UCLA in Friday night's Pac-12 opener, but couldn't complete the comeback effort falling 3-1 in front of a sell-out crowd of 2,336 that packed Prentup Field.
"We really wanted lights since the day we got here because we know what this community, student body and university is capable of in its support," head coach Danny Sanchez said about Friday's crowd. "I want to thank everyone who a hand in getting the lights in and allowing us to play in front of a sold-out crowd against the defending national champions.
