BOULDER — Colorado put together a big third-quarter comeback to take the lead Friday night, but couldn't make the edge hold up in the final period as the Buffs fell 69-67 to Arizona.
The Buffs missed three shots in the final 17 seconds that would have tied or won the game, but they couldn't put the ball through the net, with the final shot bouncing off the rim at the buzzer.
Colorado dropped to 10-3 overall and 0-2 in Pac-12 play while Arizona improved to 12-1, 2-0.
Quinessa Caylao-Do led CU with 21 points and Alexis Robinson scored 17.
