Buffs’ Ceal Barry named finalist for Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame

Legendary Colorado coach Ceal Barry has been named a finalist for the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame class of 2018.

Barry was one of 10 finalists announced on Thursday night during the ESPN broadcast of the matchup between No. 2 Notre Dame and No. 3 Louisville.

“It is quite an honor, especially the caliber of candidates that are up this year and the caliber of candidate that are up every year,” said Barry, currently CU’s senior associate athletic director for internal operations and senior women’s administrator.
