FAIRFAX, Calif. – The Colorado golf team record a 14-stroke improvement on Monday from the first to the second round and is currently 11th at the Juli Inkster Meadow Club Collegiate.
The Buffaloes shot a 17-over 305 during the first 18 holes, which had them 12th overall. But the second round saw the Buffaloes improve to shoot a 3-over 291, their fifth-best round of the year. Colorado (596) is only three strokes behind 10th-place UC Davis (593) and just five strokes back from ninth-place Oregon State (591).
San Jose State, one of the two tournament hosts, is in the team lead.
