GOLDEN – The University of Colorado track and field program finished off the 2019 calendar year on a high-note, led by the performance of heptathlete Wyatt Rhoads jumping into the CU top-10 list as well as Gya'ni Sami in the throws.
Rhoads finished third in the heptathlon at the Mines Alumni Classic and Multi in Golden with a score of 5,061, good for eighth in CU history. The senior transfer started the day off with a fourth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles at 8.50 seconds, just a tenth of a second ahead of teammate Davis Butte.
