Many expected Evan Worthington to hear his name called in the late rounds of the 2019 NFL Draft, but as we saw last year with Phillip Lindsay, it’s often better for fringe players to pick their own situation than to be drafted into one. Worthington being undrafted could be a blessing in disguise as he has signed with the Baltimore Ravens.
Worthington was a two-year starter at Colorado who showed that he can be a versatile playmaker who makes the most out of his athleticism and frame. At 6’2, 210-lbs., the Aurora native has the speed and size to match up with tight ends and larger receivers who tend to pose problems for opposing defenses.
