Rocking two-toned blue Nikes, Awuzie posted a 39.5-inch vertical. bettering his NFL scouting combine mark by 5 inches. Scouts’ eyes widened and spectators released a few “oohs” in reaction to the cornerback’s performance at the University of Colorado’s recent pro-day workouts.
“I told you,” Awuzie yelled to his “Money Gang” teammates, Ahkello Witherspoon and Tedric Thompson. This was one of the few question marks eating at Awuzie after an otherwise strong combine performance in Indianapolis in early March.
