After becoming the first undrafted rookie offensive player to reach the Pro Bowl last season, Phillip Lindsay’s peers have taken notice. One day after his 25th birthday, the former Colorado Buffaloes star landed at No. 68 on the NFL Network’s Top 100 Players of 2019 list, as voted on by the players themselves.
“I’m shocked,” Lindsay said of the honor. “I’ve seen [the show] a couple times, but it’s an honor, because that means players around [the NFL] believe in you.”
The 5-foot-8, 190-pound Denver, Colo. native rushed for 1,037 yards and nine touchdowns in 2018. He also added 35 receptions for 241 yards and another score.
