Colorado Buffaloes defensive back Mikial Onu may not return against Arizona. The nation’s leader in forced turnovers was taken out of the game with a lower back/hip injury late in the second quarter is questionable to return.
Onu, a graduate transfer from SMU has started every game this season with 24 tackles, four pass interceptions, three pass deflections, and two forced fumbles. A total of 40 career games (24 starts) with 219 tackles, six interceptions, 14 pass breakups, three tackles for a loss and a half-sack at SMU.
This is another hit for a team already depleted in the secondary currently without three starters: Onu, Chris Miller (ACL) and Aaron Maddox (laceration).
