PORTLAND, Ore. — The University of Colorado women's golf team recorded too many bogeys on the second day of action at Molly Collegiate Invitational Tuesday and dropped one position to seventh.
The Buffs ended the tournament with a 44-over 908 after shooting a 16-over 304 in the final round. CU had held a one-stroke lead over Washington heading into Tuesday's round, but the Huskies were able to put together an 8-over 296 and moved up to sixth place. UW recorded an 898 for the tournament and placed sixth.
Stanford won decisively, shooting a 4-under 860 on the 6,141-yard par 72 Waverley Country Club course.
