The Colorado Buffaloes kicked off the 2015-16 season with a major test against the No. 7 ranked Iowa State Cyclones in the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. While the Buffaloes fell, 68 - 62, they showed depth that wasn't there last season in giving the Cyclones a fight for most of the game.
All things considered, the Buffaloes didn't really play that well and still hung with Iowa State, giving fans a lot of hope for the season. Josh Scott, while playing decently on the defensive end, struggled for most of the game on the offensive side of the ball.
