CORVALLIS, Ore. — Colorado's offense turned the ball over four times and the Buffaloes' defense had no answer for a balanced Oregon State attack Saturday night as CU dropped a 42-9 decision at Reser Stadium.
The Buffaloes dropped to 1-5 overall and 1-3 in Pac-12 play (1-1 under interim head coach Mike Sanford) while OSU improved to 6-2, 3-2.
The Buffs trailed 7-0 after one quarter and 21-3 at the half before the Beavers left no doubt about the outcome with two touchdowns in the first three minutes of the second half.
Colorado finished with 290 yards offense.
