The Colorado Women’s basketball season has come to an end and what a run it was. The Buffs came into March Madness as a 5 seed and squared off versus 12 seed Drake in Manhattan, Kansas round one. They then went on to beat 4-seed Kansas State before falling to Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Sweet Sixteen.
This was a special group of players for Colorado, comprised of mainly upperclassmen that dominated the college basketball world all year long. The Buffaloes were ranked nationally in the top 25 throughout the whole season but for the second straight year, the Iowa Hawkeyes were the team to send them packing.
