The Colorado Buffaloes extended their promising run with a 81-69 victory over the Air Force Falcons on Sunday afternoon. The Buffs are now a perfect 6-0 on the season.
The first half was a bit odd because even as Colorado looked more skilled, more physical and just plain better, they trailed 34-33 at the half. CU played solid defense and forced tough shots, but Air Force was shooting too hot to contain. They hit 8 of 15 three-pointers for 24 of their 34 points. Even though the Buffs dominated the boards and George King filled up the stat sheet, they couldn’t quite keep up, and that was because they were plagued by turnovers.
