Six Buffs in the top 20 individually
ERIE — The University of Colorado men's golf team, looking to win or share the title in its own tournament for the seventh straight year, is in position to do just that as the Buffaloes will take the lead into the final round Tuesday of the 10th Annual Mark Simpson-Colorado Invitational.
The Buffaloes posted a 20-under par team score of 556, scoring back-to-back subpar rounds for the first time this season (with a season-best 12-under 276 in the morning round). Utah State finished the day in second place, four strokes back at 560, with Grand Canyon in the mix, five off the pace with a 561 total.
