At this rate, the Pac-12 Conference might need to consider renaming one of its weekly volleyball honors as the Brynna DeLuzio Award.
For the second consecutive week and the fourth time this season, Colorado's freshman setter has been named the league's Freshman of the Week.
It actually was a more workmanlike week than usual for DeLuzio, who leads the Pac-12 in overall assists (1,061) while ranking second in assists per set (11.05). DeLuzio recorded 28 assists in a sweep against Washington State but was momentarily sidelined by an ankle injury during the Buffs' sweep of then-No. 11 Washington, finishing with a season-low 22 assists.
