PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Tina Bohkua, a sophomore on the University of Colorado women’s tennis team, fell to Stanford’s Carolina Doyle in the first round of the main draw here at the ITA Riviera Women’s All-American Tennis Championships.
Bohkua fell by scores of 6-1, 6-2, to Doyle, who’s ranked the No. 17 player in the country in the preseason ITA rankings of Sept. 15.
“This is great experience and exposure for Tina at this level,” CU coach Nicole Kenneally said. “Obviously to get a win at this tournament would be huge, so we will be looking to put our best foot forward tomorrow.
