Mel Tucker is trying his absolute hardest to get the average weight of his football team above 250. Through sheer focus and quantity of linemen, he just might get the Colorado Buffaloes there.
In their short time in Boulder, Tucker and D-line coach Jimmy Brumbaugh one giant prep defensive lineman (over 300 pounds), a grad transfer from Auburn (over 300 pounds), a still very large lineman from Washington at 280, two very large juco players (260 and 300), and now Lloyd Murray, who stands at a gargantuan 310 pounds. This 2019 class will be stress testing the weight room floor.
