BOULDER – The weekend ended on a sour note for the Colorado soccer team on Sunday. The Buffaloes were dealt their first home loss of the season, falling to Oregon State in a 2-1 decision.
No. 17 Colorado now falls to 9-2-1 on the season and 1-1-1 in Pac-12 play. The Beavers improved to 9-1-1 and 1-1-1 in the conference.
CU controlled much of the contest, leading all the offensive categories on the stat sheet. Oregon State landed the first blow of the match in the 29th minute, taking all the momentum the Buffs had built up.
