Through the first two games of The Basketball Tournament, both victories, Team Colorado enjoyed a number of clutch performances.
Those games also were marked by the hot shooting of former Colorado Buffaloes guard Marcus Hall, who had carried much of the team's scoring burden heading into the Super 16 round of the $2 million winner-take-all competition.
On Friday Hall's hot hand finally cooled. However, unleashing a form of team basketball that certainly would have made CU basketball coach Tad Boyle proud, the former Buffs were able to avenge an early exit from last year's TBT with a 78-73 victory against Team 23 in Philadelphia.
