BOULDER — With two regular season games to go — both at home — the Colorado Buffaloes are still in the mix for a top-four finish in the Pac-12 standings and the first-round conference tournament bye that would go with it.
But given the jumbled state of the standings — the third- through eighth-place teams are separated by just one loss — it's not easy to predict where Tad Boyle's Buffs might finish. Currently 17-11 overall and 8-8 in Pac-12 play, Colorado could still end up anywhere from the third to the 10th seed when the conference tournament tips off March 13 in Las Vegas.
