It was a change-up no one saw coming.
Pressed into action on the fly last week against USC, Colorado backup quarterback Blake Stenstrom had a little trick up his sleeve. Rather than simply holding down the fort until starter Steven Montez was ready to re-enter after absorbing a rough hit late in the third quarter, Stenstrom made a play.
With his legs, no less.
It proved to be a memorable Folsom Field debut for Stenstrom in a way his CU debut definitely was not a week earlier, with the redshirt freshman taking off for a 27-yard gain.
