University of Colorado cornerback Anthony Julmisse was arrested after witnesses said he rear-ended a car and then stole the other driver's cellphone when that driver took pictures of the damage.
Julmisse, 19, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of robbery, first-degree criminal trespass of a vehicle, criminal mischief and careless driving.
According to an affidavit released today, Julmisse was driving a friend's Toyota SUV around 7 p.m. when he reportedly rear-ended a Toyota Corolla stopped at a red light at the intersection of 33rd Street and Arapahoe Avenue.
The driver of the Corolla told police Julmisse pulled up alongside his car and both drivers got out to inspect the damage to the Corolla's bumper, which police noted was extensive.
