The 2017 Rocky Mountain Showdown between Colorado State and the University of Colorado kicks off Friday at 6:07 p.m. at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver. Here are three Rams and three Buffs who should be difference makers in the rivalry.

Nick Stevens, QB, senior: After a rocky start to his junior season that saw him get benched in favor of true freshman Collin Hill, Stevens regained his starting position Oct. 15, 2016. From that point forward (seven games), he threw for 1,859 yards, 19 touchdowns and three interceptions. He opened the 2017 season with a bang last week with 334 yards and three touchdowns through the air against Oregon State.
