The nationwide hunt for Buffs is truly proving that borders don’t matter in 2020. Despite the historical focus on Colorado, Texas, and California, the Colorado Buffaloes are going everywhere for talent and ending up in places like Arkansas, North Carolina, and now, Alabama. Edgar Amaya brought them down to the football stronghold, and his pledge signals a continuation of what we’ve seen out of the offensive line.
Amaya is from Russellville in northwest Alabama, a smallish town that houses Russellville High School, where he plays his ball. The 6’3, 300 pound guard was committed to Kansas for some of this recruiting process, but he decommitted to fully explore his other options.
