In advance of the Avalanche’s NHL Stadium Series game, Colorado captain Gabe Landeskog made a trip down south with an NHL video crew to experience some of what the Air Force Academy has to offer.
Landeskog was given a flight suit, complete with a custom nametag and explored everything, from joining the Falcons hockey team on the ice to sitting inside a T53A training aircraft with Air Force hockey player Matthew Pulver. The Avs forward also jumped off of 10-meter diving platform at the campus’ pool.
“I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to be a cadet for a day,” Landeskog says in the video.
