DALLAS — In less than 35 hours, veteran defenseman David Warsofsky traveled from San Antonio to Denver and Denver to Dallas. It would have been easier to meet the Avalanche in Dallas after being recalled from the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League on Thursday, but Warsofsky did what he was told.
“It was good to get a practice in and skate with the guys,” Warsofsky said of Friday’s Avalanche practice before the team flew to Dallas.
Warsofsky, 27, was Colorado’s only healthy scratch Saturday night against the Stars but he figures to get some playing time until Tyson Barrie returns from injury within the next three weeks.
