Tyson Barrie Excited for First International Games

“I’m excited to get over there and get it going and hopefully, win a gold.” ~Tyson Barrie

Earlier this week four Colorado Avalanche players were invited to play for Team Canada in the IIHF Championship. Center Matt Duchene has extensive international experience, and center Nathan MacKinnon is not far behind. Center Ryan O’Reilly doesn’t have quite as much experience as those two, but he represented Canada in the 2012 and 2013 IIHF World Championships.

Defenseman Tyson Barrie does have a little bit of experience, having earned a silver medal with Canada in the 2011 IIHFWorld Junior Championship.
