Rene Bourque will play against Canucks, Gabe Landeskog doesn’t skate … not even in orange

Avalanche winger Rene Bourque, who didn’t practice Friday because of illness, said after the morning skate that he would play Saturday night against Vancouver at the Pepsi Center.

“I’m fine,” Bourque said. “I’ll; be good to go.”

Bourque had two goals against Edmonton Wednesday and his seven goals are tied with Matt Duchene for the team high.

“It hit me after the game the other night,” Bourque said. “Flu, virus, it went through our whole house. The kids got it, then I got it. . . It was better for me to get rest and hydrated and get some food in me than come to the rink.
