The weeks-long standoff between Altitude Sports and three major cable television distributors may be thawing.
Altitude COO Matt Hutchings said there’s been “positive activity” in recent days involving one of the big three distributor. He did not clarify which one of Comcast, DirecTV or Dish Network was involved in the talks.
All three saw their contracts with Altitude expire more than a month ago, with the Colorado Avalanche now two weeks into its regular season schedule and the Nuggets’ home opener fast approaching Oct. 25.
“We are in active conversations with a company, which is good because I’ve said before it’s been hard to get some good faith engagement,” Hutchings said.
