The Pepsi Center will soon serve its fans beverages in aluminum cups.
Following in the footsteps of Folsom Field, the home of the Nuggets and Avalanche is teaming up with Ball Corporation to use the “infinitely recyclable” lightweight cups for games and other events at the arena. The Pepsi Center is the first major professional sports arena to use the cups in a full-scale manner, according to the news release.
The cups will debut during the Nuggets’ home opener on Oct. 25 against the Phoenix Suns. CU has been using the cups during the 2019 football season at Folsom Field.
