Patrick Kane's power play goal less than a minute into overtime handed Colorado its fourth straight loss, a 3-2 decision on Saturday night before a sellout crowd at the Pepsi Center.
The visitors opened the extra period with a 4-on-3 power play after captain Gabe Landeskog was whistled for a 4-minute double-minor high-sticking call with 18:48 left in regulation.
"Take four, eight minutes of penalties in the last minute of the game," coach Jared Bednar said, "it's tough to win.
