On the eve of the Avalanche’s development camp at Family Sports Center, the media availability session with the Avalanche’s top three 2015 draft choices has just ended at the Pepsi Center.

Patrick Roy was there, too, and I asked him about his staff realignment following the departures of Andre Tourigny and Mario Duhamel.
“We’re going to announce it pretty soon,” Roy said. “We’re very close to coming to terms with different guys.”
Roy wouldn’t go into specifics, but he did say Adam Foote — his former teammate and roommate and a part-time defense consultant the past two seasons — wouldn’t be joining the staff full-time.
