The Colorado Avalanche are already enjoying their summers - but for prospect Conor Timmins, his year isn’t quite over yet.
The 2017 second-round pick has been turning heads this year for the OHL’s Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, and it’s paying dividends. His team is now set to face off against the Hamilton Bulldogs in the OHL Final, a place they haven’t been in a quarter century.
It’s a fantastic bit of playoff experience for the Avs prospect, who could challenge for a spot with the team next year after a standout World Juniors performance this winter. They Greyhounds have been just short of the ability to put it all together since the early 1990’s, so seeing this is promising news for the major junior club.
